More Winners and More Giveaways!

Holy Schmazoley! It took a LONG time to cut up all those entries!! This is soooooo much fun!!! I wish I could do this every day forever! I feel like we're all in some big convention center whooping it up! We're stamping, music's playing, waiters are walking around with frozen fun drinks in fancy glasses that you get to keep...

Oh, sorry. Back to earth!

We have a winner for DAY 2!!!

The winner of the Giga Scalloped OVAL punch is:

Hi Gina,
I can't get your blog to take the security code but I really want to win. Please enter me in the drawing. I love your blog and read it every single day. Can't wait until April 1st!
Jenna

If all today's winners could send me your snail mail addresses, I will ship those out to you on April 13th!

So, for today! Yup, ANOTHER GIGA SCALLOPED PUNCH! THIS TIME- A SQUARE.

In honor of today's giveaway I thought I would show you how to use your Giga scalloped square to make a rectangle.

I love this card! Mostly because I get in such a habit of using patterned paper but this time I stamped a background using the Paisley Background stamp available at stampingfreak.com under background stamps.
I used Stampin' Up's Ruby Red, Basic Black and White cardstock. Then, I stamped the Paisley stamp in Ruby Red. I stamped the Flower Trio stamp and colored it with both Prismacolor pencils with odorless mineral spirits and I added a little marker to accent. I used some organdy polka dot ribbon from Hobby Lobby and some Prima flowers and a big black brad. The Thanks greeting was also stamped with black stazon.

To make the Giga scalloped rectangle, here's what I did.

First, I punch two black scalloped squares.

Then, I stamped my background paper:

Next, I overlapped the black rectangles and lined them up perfectly. I taped them together with some monoadhesive to keep them steady.

Then, I glue them down and wrapped some polkadot ribbon over the seam.

Then, I layed my stamped piece of white on top.

And then I finished my card. Here it is again so you don't have to scroll back up:

And that's it! Easy, huh? You can overlap as much as you want to make it smaller if your stamped image is smaller. You can do this with the Mega scalloped squarer too.

Now, one more hint:

Raymond only gave you a small piece of this puzzle. Everyone is different. There are different degrees, different terms used, different symptoms. Early intervention is the key to unlocking the door of this mysterious puzzle. Not everyone gets early intervention but the generous hearts of rubber stampers , overtime, can help change that. By this time tomorrow, you will know our cause because it will be on a banner ad on Splitcoaststampers.com. Until then, have fun trying to figure it out, if you haven't already!

Good luck today!! Don't foret to comment!!

Hey Gina I have a suggestion for you. I work at a curves and we have big drawings a couple of times a year. Someone always makes up new numbers on paper that we have to cut apart for the drawing and we were using a lot of paper that we had to throw away after the drawing. During one of the drawings I coincidentally saw that the candy dish had A LOT of one particular kind of candy the the gals did not like. Soooooo, I thought they would make a great tool for the drawing. I put individual numbers on each piece of candy and when we have a drawing each person is assigned a number and if your number is drawn, you win. We reuse the candyy and waste a lot less paper. Thanks for your great inspiration!

OH dear I fear I will NEED some of these giga scallop punches now. that is an AWESOME card. Well I've known for a bit from the clues what you are at least talking about, and I THINK i have an idea of what you are planning for what I already know your clues are regarding! I am excited to see the unvieling (though I will be away on the 1st due to my wedding anniversary - my husband has set up childcare for all four children and we are taking a mini trip to New Orleans to be a couple again).....my oldest son was diagnosed with a mild form of Autism several years ago and it's been hard to wrap our heads around - so I applaud what your surprise is in regards to! It is amazing how many people you come across who are somehow affected by Autism directly or indirectly...kind of like when you buy a new red car, you start to notice everyone else with the same red car as yours..... Heightens your awareness...I'm all for heightening awareness without having to keep encountering more people that have been diagnosed just to obtain more awareness!!! Did that even make sense? Well I sure hope so.......
Lots of well wishes and I cant WAIT to return from my trip already so I can see the be reveal and I haven't even left yet LOL!
