Woodgraining Technique

So many of you asked me how I do my woodgraining technique.

Step by step picture tutorials are great but some things need a video tutorial.

I pulled this clip from my Gina K. Designs Rubber Stamping Techniques DVD. I had to really shrink it down to upload it so the quality poor compared to the high quality of my DVDs but you will still be able to see how to do this technique properly.

Some of you may have already seen this clip on our store website but we pulled it off in April and many of you have asked to see it again. Just click on the TV below! Oh, and there's a special at the bottom of this entry for you. So come back after you watch it.

If you enjoyed this clip and felt that it helped you, you will really like my DVD three pack filled with over 40 video techniques, great for beginners or advanced stampers who want a library of stamping techniques at their fingertips. I've had a lot of Demonstrators get these and use them to create techniques classes.

I thought maybe a little sale was in order, so, if you would like to purchase these DVDs, I've cut $10.00 off the price! But this price is only good through this Friday, May 18th. (2007 in case your reading this a year from now.)

And, because I know you'll ask- Yes! Go ahead and share the news. (You enablers, you! LOL!)

Happy stamping!
Hugs,
Gina K.

Gina I just love this tutorial! I have watched is several several times on your website before you removed it and am so glad that you once again posted it. I love that technique. In fact your website was the first time I had seen it and right after i watched it, I made a B-day card for by brother and since he is a builder, I thought it suited him perfectly!!!

This is a great tutorial, and yes, it does look just like 2 planks of wood. I have a question though. Running the cocoa right over the craft white, is the cocoa pad ruined? I would think the craft white would transfer onto the other ink pad because of how wet it is.

You are right, it does ruin the cocoa ink pad a little. I have one dedicated to the woodgraining technique since I use it a lot. I figure the ink pad costs about as much as a pack of patterned paper but it makes unlimited sheets of woodgrained paper so I'm ahead. LOL!
