Summer is my favorite time of year!
I love grilling out, fresh fruit and salad, getting together with friends and not wearing shoes for three months straight!
These samples were made with my new collection of Summer Celebration stamps. They are now available at Stampingfreak.com individually in either mounted or unmounted. The thing I really like about theses stamps is, well yeah, they're great for the 4th of July and Labor Day, but take a second look. Wouldn't those fireworks be great for an engagement, love or wedding card. Or how about celebrating an accomplishment? And, they really lend themselves well to scrapbooking because they are huge!
The stars are great for just about anything. From a nice bold background, a birthday or a country and western themed party you will find these chunky stamps lots of fun to play with. (They work so well if you do the versamark resist technique with them.)
The Fireworks are a set of two so you have left and right. The stars are a set of two as well.
These stamps are on their way to my design team and I know that they will show you lots of creative ways to use them too! I can't wait to see what they come up with! A few more summer designs are coming and then we have something really special to roll out... Oh, I just got chills!
Other new products- we've started to add the single scalloped frames a doodles in the store. They are available wood mounted and unmounted. They are making their way onto the cybershelves, a little at a time. They should all be up by the end of the week.

Sorry I haven't been around the blog much lately- Here's why:

This is the first sneak peek of the Gina K Designs store that is coming some time this fall. We have been busy with the plans and build out. Plus, we have a huge warehouse area back there that we will be moving into in a couple of days. Trying to pack a warehouse and still fill orders...How do you do that?
Punch update- All of the backorders in our pergatory section of the warehouse are out! LOL! (Well, all but one or two that we are awaiting payment on.) So, if you ordered backordered punches in May, they are on their way to you. New punch orders are being filled as well. We are still at about 7 business days for shipping for those of you wondering how it's going.
So, what do you think? New stamps, new store coming...do I hear ROAD TRIP? There's a great Country Inn and Suites just up the road and I'd love to meet you all! LOL! That would be one huge road trip!
Maybe we need a Gina K. Bus...with a stamping area.
Hugs,
Gina K.

Great news on the Store, Gina! And I love the card, as I look at the fireworks--I got another idea. They could be used for squirts of water too, I think, from maybe a sprinkler, a whale . . . I don't know for sure, but you have my cogs working *wink*. Thanks for the inspiration!

Congrats!! I read on a magazine about a bed and breakfast scrapbooking place in Michigan, a place where you can come with your pals for fun and they have all kinds of tools for scrapbooking. So I think a GINAK-Inn sounds great to me...

Congrats on your new store, Gina! This is such cool news! I live near Chicago, but DH takes grad school classes at UW-Madison. Once your store opens, I may just have to ride along with him and spend his classtime at your store! Hooray!
