Every Thursday evening, McFarland, Wisconsin is buzzing with the sound of music and the rich creamy taste of ice cream! It's "Sundaes on Thursdays" at the Gazebo and folks line up to get their ice cream and enjoy a little time with their neighbors.
As we passed the Gazebo tonight on our way to dinner to celebrate our Alicia's 12th birthday, we passed that familiar site. When we came home, I took a little time to stamp and immediately reached for this brand new ice cream cone stamp by my friend Chris at The Creative Mode.
I stamped my images with black stazon and then colored them using my Rose and Caramel Stampin' Up markers. Of course, no ice cream is complete without the sprinkles, so I added some stickles glitter glue. I used my patterend paper slab paper from Michael's to set the color tone.
I used my Stampin' Up scalloped scissors to cut the scalloped line of paper below my ice cream and highlighted on top with some May Art's ribbon. I stamped the greeting with my Gina K Designs "Sweet" stamp and added some primas and brads. Then, I used my 1/4 inch SU circle punch to clip the corners and added some brads for bling.
I always look for a good excuse to have a little ice cream. I think spending time with family, friends and neighbors is a great one for me!
