A winner and a whole lotta' news you can use!
I had so much fun reading every one of your comments of what you thought was in that picture! Some of you saw tins, others saw picture frames with business cards. Some saw mirrors. It's funny how when you know what you're looking at, then the little snippet of a picture makes more sense.
So what did you really see?

So what did you really see?

Those of you who said you saw CD sized tins were right! Coming November 1st, the entire Gina K. Designs collection, (with the exception of a few stamps,) will be available in sets and they will come packaged in those yummy CD sized tin storage cases!
Someone asked if we are going acrylic? No. We will continue to produce our high quality, deeply etched red rubber, and they will be available mounted on cling cushion for use with acrylic blocks.
Are we keeping our woodmounted collection?
We've decided not to carry wood mounted stamps anymore. We've noticed the trends in the industry and we've watched our sales for the last year. I was floored to see that 97% of our stamps were sold as unmounted with only 3% sold as woodmounted. The only exception to this was our Stamps for a Cause sets. They sold more in woodmounted than unmounted. We think maybe because so many of our Stampin' Up demonstrator friends love to help with our causes that the increase in wood mounted came from that demographic. Because of that, all of our Stamps for a Cause will continue to be sold both unmounted and woodmounted.
Wait until you see the price difference too! WOW! When you sell stamps in sets, you eliminate a lot of man hours of cutting rubber. When you eliminate the wood, you save even more time and when you create stamps in sets, you have mush less waste rubber. All of those dollars saved are going back into your wallet. We have decreased our prices per stamp drastically!
What other benefits are coming?
How about free shipping over $35.00 in the USA and APO/FPO and much cheaper shipping rates to Canada, Europe and Australia? We invested in a whole new software system for shipping that will allow us to ship other ways other than priority mail. This means BIG savings for you!
Are you still giving us a free gift and candy in our order?
We have new candy that we will be sending you and it's very unique. LOL! ***Please note in your order if you are allergic to chocolate and we will make a substitution.
However, we've decided that 18 inches of ribbon just isn't cutting it anymore. So, we've decided that each month, we will be coming out with something called "the stamp set of the month." These will be full size stamp sets, packaged in our beautiful new storage tins. Whenever you place an order for three stamp sets, you will get the stamp set of the month for free! Each month we will come out with at least three new stamp sets for you to love. And in November, we have five new stamp sets! This offer will also include our Stamps for a Cause and our new line of humorous stamps called "Tickle your Funny Bone." You're gonna' laugh at those for sure! These are the only stamps my husband actually wants to try and stamp with. LOL! Yours will too.
Did you know that almost all of our regular stamp sets have new stamps in them! Let me give you a sneak peek of one of my favorite new sets to show you what I mean.
Do you remember these three stamps from our latest collection?
As single unmounted stamps, these cost around $13.00.

Now, those three single stamps have turned into this set just in time for your Super Bowl parties:

Cost? only $18.95. (And you're getting 4 new stamps- cute ones too, don't cha think? LOL!)
You won't believe all the fun new stuff we have coming your way! I am so excited I could jump out of my skin. We've got lots of other non-stampy things too, some of which you will get to see during my three sneak peek pre-party days!
So why am I revealing all of this now? I don't want anyone to feel like they have to run out and quickly buy up stuff because it's going to be retired. I also wanted to give you the heads you the heads up about our woodmounted stamps retiring. If you are still on the fence about unmounted stamps, I would encourage you to try these with one or two of our fabulously comfortable acrylic blocks. Did you know that almost our entire collection will fit on just two of the blocks we carry? TWO! That's all you need. I'll give you more details on that later.
So what about that cute little CD holder up there?
Well, I honestly can't remember where I bought that. So, no, we won't be carrying those. Even my design team has been asking about that thing!! I am searching high and low for some cute storage units for our stamp sets. As soon as I find something I love, I will introduce it to you. (It sure makes a cute photo though, don't you think?)
Now, for our winner:

Congrats Rachel! Send me your snail mail and I'll send you the punch.
. . . . . . . .
I am so excited about all of our new changes and you will be too! Starting this Sunday night, I will be giving away free stamps sets everyday until November 1st right here on my blog. Then, on Monday, our three day pre-party event starts with sneak peeks and projects every day along with those giveaways!
And don't forget to mark your calendar for Halloween night in our forum at Splitcoaststampers as we have our Grand re-opening party from 10:00 pm to midnight. At midnight, the doors open to our brand new webstore!!
Be there or be square!! (wow- that dates me.)

WOW! These changes seem fantastic.
The CD rack looks a lot like the one I got from target:
http://www.target.com/Nestable-40-Wire-Storage-Rack/dp/B00009UHG7/sr=1-4/qid=1193327579/ref=sr_1_4/601-9791038-2758559?ie=UTF8&index=target&rh=k%3ACD%20rack&page=1
Except I couldn't find the "single" one- this is a double.
OH MY GOODNESS- I love the tins they are going to come in. Will there be an index image on them?
I cannot wait for your stamps to come in sets- that has held me back from a lot of them.
OH! YAY! GINA!

Oh Gina, I love the idea of the stamps now being packaged in the tins. I use to buy the Paper Salon stamps just for that reason. Thanks for keeping them rubber too. There's just something extra special about our rubber don't you agree?
Just got out of the hospital from having spinal surgery, but I hope to be able to keep up with your daily surprises.

Gina, being an ex stampin up demonstrator, I thought I just had to have all of my stamps wood mounted. I gave your unmounted stamps a try and I've got to tell you, I absolutely love them!! They are so much nicer to use and they save so much storage space. I am so glad you told all of us about the unmounted stamps and encouraged us to give them a try.

Gina, these tins are so cute! I must have been the only one who bought wood mounted stamps! (and I didn't always buy wood mounted) I'm sure I can find the wood if I decide I need it -- and lately storage issues have led me towards the unmounted -- PS, LOVE the Super Bowl set!!

I think this is a BRILLIANT idea! I just bought a couple of sets from another company recently and was trying to figure out how to store them (foam mounted rubber). So I looked in my "things that need altering" drawer and pulled out one of my metal DVD tins. These work WONDERFULLY with this type of stamp! Are you going to also sell these CD tins by themselves? It's a great storage idea! I found CD racks similar to yours at Target (except they were silver). They come in the smaller size like you show and one that holds 120, I believe. It's what I use for all of my jewel cases.

Will you be selling the cling film so
that we can mount our SU rubber on
acrylic. I have a lot of SU stamps but
if I could remount them somehow, it sure would save space. Love the idea.
And love the tins for easier storage.

Wow! You are doing some big changes. I have to say I am a little disappointed about the wood blocks option going away, but I'm glad you are keeping it for the sets for a cause. I keep thinking I need to like this unmounted for storage reasons, but I just don't unless I have to buy them that way. That being said I LOVE the idea of the sets. I would have bought more of your stamps in the past in they were in sets for the cost reasons you mentioned. I also love that they match & you have several to make cards or scrapbook pages with. The football set is super cute! LOVE it. Keep up the good work & these types of sets. Now if I could just find a way to make more money for my little problem....I mean hobby.

I went to target today and found these racks that hold 40 cds cases for only $6.99. It is the same one that is online for $12.99. f course online it says they are not available in the store. I grabbed 3 of them since I know with all the new stamp sets coming out, I will need space. Working on my craft room again, so I can buy more. Counting down til this party.

Fabulous, forward-thinking changes you're making, Gina! Much as I initially disliked the idea of going unmounted at first, I've come to the realization that for purely purposes of storage, it's eventually going to be an inevitability for me. Coupled with the $$$ saved, it's looking more attractive daily. Add in the environmental perspective, and it's a no-brainer. Good for you in making some tough, progressive decisions. Can't wait to see your new designs!
