I am so excited to introduce you to our newest Illustrator!

Rupa and I met at the Madison, WI rubber stamping show. She came into our booth and she and I began talking. We hit it off right away! She just so happened to have a few of her drawings with her and showed them to me. I was blown away. I am so in love with her style. Her art is very modern and sleek. We have all kinds of wonderful stamp sets in the works and every idea she has gets me more excited!

Rupa's set this month is called "Thinking of You." It has so many stamps in it! I especially enjoy stamping with this one because I love huge stamps.

This particular stamp is actually a bigger stamp. (It's actually coffee for two.) This is what it looks like on the block but I'll show what I did.

When a stamp is this big, I don't like to color on it and huff to get my image. And, when your using Copic markers and you need special ink, it's even harder to do that. Yes, there are ways but look how easy this is. All I did was cut the one chair off like this.

This is truly the beauty of unmounted red rubber! You don't have to trim it close, just leave it that way. The two pieces fit like a puzzle when you want the whole image. Or, just pick either one if you want a single image. You can even cut the other chair the same way so you have even more options!

And, I love all the greeting in this set! They are delicate and can fit right on the picture. Sometimes the card looks so perfect and you don't know where to add the greeting. This set allows you to put it right into your focal image. I love that!!!

This set is huge! It has 12 stamps and that's if you DON'T cut apart the table and chairs. What until you see the topiary and the pile of hat boxes! You will love everything about this stamp set.

Do you see the little bling up there?
Aren't those buttons TO DIE FOR!!! They're brads and they come in brights and pastels! Introducing Gina K. Designs Bling & Dazzle Button Babies! They come 25 assorted colors in a pack for only $2.99. They will be available on Monday night and they are just the right touch for all your spring cards.

Look who else has something fabulous for you this month! It's Melanie!!!

The totally "hip" Melanie Muenchinger called me with this idea about three months ago right before her very first stamp set debuted. I nearly fell off the chair when she told me about it. But it required me to get another new item in stock before we could release it and these items are never easy to get.

Introducing the altoid tin!

These will be available in our store on Monday night too! Leave it Melanie to come up with the perfect stamp sets- yes, I said SET(S), that coordinate with these tins.

The sample I'm going to show you tonight is from her "What's in your tin? Set 1" This stamp set features fabulous stamps that are designed for projects for kids. I about jumped out of my skin when I saw this stamp because it is EXACTLY what I have been looking for!

Look at this cute little tooth holder.

My little 7 year old nephew is losing teeth left and right and occasionally the tooth fairy can't find the little suckers when he tucks them under his pillow. (He won't put his tooth inside anything because he's afraid she won't know it's there.) But how can the tooth fairy miss a box designed for the job?

I whipped this up in about five minutes. He will treasure this box. I can't wait to give it to him.

I stamped one of the two frame choices on to some Cosmo Cricket "Little Boys" paper.

Then, I picked my greeting and stamped it in the center. I trimmed it out, sponged around the edges and taped it on the top of the tin. Then, I cut a thing trip of coordinating paper and wrapped it around the tin with redline tape. You can use Stampin' Up Sticky tape or Scor-Pal tape too.

I added a few 'button babies' and upholstered the inside to match the outside. If you don't want your stamped frame to show inside, stamp the wrong side as a guide to trim around. BTW, the Stampin' Up corner rounded is the perfect rounder for this shaped tin. And that's it- gift done in a flash!
Happy kid- very happy tooth fairy!

Check out Mel's Blog for more inspirational ways to use her new stamp sets!

Wow. Oh, the stamps are wonderful! But I went to Rupa's website. Wow. We lived in Africa for a year, and thought God would send us back full time. I have no doubt that if He had done that, we'd have brought home some of those babies in the orphanages. The wheels are turning in my head. You said you would be revealing something that you have thought and prayed about and I thought, "OH! Maybe if we buy a set money will go to kids in Africa!"

A wise woman told us when we were there, "Once you come to Africa, your heart is always here." She was right.

And, yes, the buttons and boxes are cute, too, and your nephew will love the box! Hmmm, do my girls have any teeth left to lose?

The Tooth Fairy tin is adorable. Wish they'd been available when my daughter was a little girl. Maybe you could turn it into a dog or cat treat carrier or even candy for your purse.
