Four fabulous corners- one tool (and weekend candy for you!)

Tonight, I am really excited to share this "new-to-me" tool with you!

It's not new. It's make by Fiskars, which is right up the road from me. I love Fiskars products and I think this tool is 'da bomb!' (Okay, I've been hanging around my kids too much, LOL!)

Here is a picture of the tool. It's called the "Fiskars Corner Edger" and the style that I love is called "Regal."

I bet you've seen these before, looked at the package and thought, "How the heck does this work?" Then you put them back. Well, I have a tutorial to show you just how easy they are to use! AND CHEAP!!!

Not too long ago, I introduced you to a new punch that I love called the Corner Adorner. We got a million of them in stock and they sold out in a few days. Well, guess what? They are discontinued! UGH! That always happens. So, I went on a search to find a corner punch that would give me a bigger bite out of my corner. (I love my Stampin' Up one, I just wanted one that would work with bigger bling.) There really isn't much out there and then I found these scissors.

These take nice big chomp out of the corner and allows you to used bigger brads, eyelets and buttons.

Stamps- Gina K. Designs Spring Blooms
Paper- Bazzill card stock, Daisy D's Patterned paper, Stampin' Up Whisper White
Ink- Brilliance- Graphite
Extras- Ribbon by Stampin' Up, Brads by Gina K. Designs (Up and coming butter brads) Gina K. Designs Bling and Dazzle plastic tags stamped with Black Stazon Ink, Copic Markers for coloring

The next card sample shows you another edge you can do with the same exact pair of scissors.

Look at that gorgeous edge on that corner!

This card uses the Gina K. Designs Mega Rhinestones and they are much bigger than an average brad. After stamping Rupa Shevde's new "Thinking of you" stamps, the scene reminded me of a southern Victorian home so these corners made the card a bit more ornate. And doesn't that patterned paper look like wall paper? It's by DCWV- it's the Luxury pack. It has a beautiful sheen that is hard to catch with the camera.

Here's another view.

Here is a brief tutorial to show you just how easy it is to use these scissors to make fabulous corners.
Cut your paper or card stock to the size you want it. These scissors have two slightly raised paper guides on each side. The inside guide is your plain corner and the outside guide is your ornate corner.

To make the plain corner, insert your card stock using the inside paper guides. The arrows show you where the guide are if you can't see them in the picture.

Then cut. To get the more ornate corner, Push the paper in further to the outside guide.

When you are done, here is what those two cuts look like. Make sure the cutting part of the scissors appears like this picture to make these two corner styles.

Now, if you flip the scissor over, you will get the opposite cuts.

So you also get a corner rounder and another rounded ornate style corner cut.

Isn't that the coolest thing? And guess how much these are? Only $6.49 for 4 different corners. You can get punches for that price. And it's great to take with you for stamping and scrapping on the go because it's only one tool that does four things.

We have them in stock now on our website under cutting and punching tools as well as the new paper piercer deluxe with the threader that I showed you the other day.
If you didn't see that tutorial, click here.

The piercer is only $2.99. If you take a look at the tutorial, you'll know why you'll want it even if you already have the fabulous one by Stampin' Up. (Don't worry, they're small and you have room for two. LOL!)

So, anyone want to win a pair of those corner edgers?
I'm giving three away !!!
Leave a comment here and I will randomly pick three winners on Sunday night! (and we may even give away a piercer or two! Let's make your odds better, huh?)

Hugs,
Gina K.
