Thank you flower and Day 2 with our guest designer!
Wow! I can't believe that my preview party for our new release is going to begin on Thursday! I can't wait.
For today, I actually stepped outside of the box a bit. I have so many stamps that I hardly get a chance to use. I dipped into that collection during my half hour of playtime today. The flower for this card is from Wordsworth/Rubbersoul from their stamp set called "I'm so glad" and the greeting is from "Kindred Greetings for Her" by Gina K. Designs.

This wasn't going to be a card. The card came about because I was just trying out a new coloring technique using my Prismacolor pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits. Although I don't have time to show it to you step-by-step today, I decided that I will do a picture tutorial coming up sometime next week. With the new release just around the corner, I only slowed down long enough to stamp the image and play a little bit. I liked the way the flower turned out so I had to make it into a card.

Card details:
Stamps- Wordsworth/Rubbersoul I'm so glad, Gina K. Designs Kindred Spirits for her.
Card stock- Bazzill, Prism, Stampin' Up whisper white and DCWV patterned paper.
Ink- Stazon- Black
Other- Ribbon, Brads, Gina K. Designs Bling and Dazzle plastic tags, Stickles, Prisma color pencils, Odorless Mineral Spirits, Fiskars Corner Edgers Scissors, Cuttlebug.
I trimmed the flower out and used micro pop dots to pop the flower up over the cuttlebugged background and over the ribbon. I hope you enjoyed this card sample.
