Preview Party- Day 2

When I was a little girl,
I had a tendency to come downstairs in the morning, ready for school with a striped shirt and flowered pants. My Mom would say, go up and change, you can't mix stripes with flowers like that! So I would grumble up the steps thinking to myself that mixing stripes with other patterns was just fine and someday, I would do it as much as I wanted!

Today is one of those glorious days.

Introducing the newest set by Melanie Muenchinger, "Jumping for Joy!" Melanie has created a brand new set of animal images that are a must have in your collection. She has maintained the letter style that runs through her entire hippy and hoppy collection so once again, these stamps will mix and match so well. But the animals in this set are TO DIE FOR CUTE!!! (They have to be- Gina K. Designs, stamps with personality, right?)

I don't know what I love more, the super cute way this zebra is kicking up her heels or the adorable heart spot in the middle of her forehead! LOL!

And what else do you see on that card?

Yes, it's our newest Bling & Dazzle- Zoo Brads! These brads are perfect for all your wild life. Whether you are making a Zebra or Giraffe card, or you are scrapbooking your kids camping trip with scouts, these brads will take your jungle projects to the next level. I am truly in love with these new little blings!

For my next preview, I mixed "Jumping for Joy" with our new stamp set called "Woo-hoo!" For those of you who remember back to the days where we sold individual stamps, you will recognize many of these images in the "Woo-hoo!" set. They had all been retired and we brought them back in time for your July 4th projects. We decided that we would keep them in our collection because they lend themselves to everything you want to celebrate!

The greeting and the fireworks are from the "Woo-hoo!" set and the rest is from "Jumping for Joy!"

I love this seal! Her looks so cute! I perched him on top of that little drum and put a sparkler in his hand, uh flipper. Then, I colored him with colored pencils and Odorless mineral spirits. Of course, with all those fireworks and sparklers, I had to add some stickles.

I can think of so many other used for those fireworks too. I will share a bunch more ideas in the future. I am contemplating the perfect wedding card for those... How romantic with the night sky!

So what do you think? Are you having as much fun as we are with this new release? Wait until you see tomorrow's projects. Let's just say, the stamp I chose brings back one of my fondest childhood memories. Maybe yours too!
