With daddy's help- preview day 3

One of my fondest memories of being a young girl is the day my Dad helped me learn to ride a bike.

I remember being excited and scared at the same time. But my Dad reassured me that he would run along side the bike and hold on to me so I wouldn't fall.

So off we went down the street, me pedaling as fast as my little legs could and my poor Dad, running along side of me holding onto the bike. We did that a couple of times and then, the very last time, he let go and I kept going. I was SO excited! I was riding... all by myself.

So, when I created the Kindred Spirits Dad stamps, I had to have a Dad helping his little daughter learn to ride her bike.

There are 4 individual Kindred Spirits Dad stamps- each doing something different with their children. There is also a new set called "Kindred greetings for him." This is a versatile set of masculine greetings that will work perfectly with these Dads or with any masculine stamps you already have.

I chose this inside greeting for my card.

(That second period isn't on the stamp. It is a spot on my patterned, textured paper.)
Isn't that just the perfect greeting for this card? I am going to use this card for my Dad for Father's Day. Other greetings include "Happy Birthday," "You rock!" and so many more!

I colored my image with Copic Markers and that perfect background paper is by Basic Grey. It's part of the Cupcake paper pad.

Want to see more? Our design team has gone wild over these Kindred Dads and have created some fabulous projects for you! Check out what Erika Martin, Faith Hofrichter, Kurtis Amundson, and Linsey Rickett have created using our Kindred Dads.

Check out a sneak peek from Carolyn King too!

And while you're at it, look at this really cool way to line up word stamps (plus a funny sneak peek from Melanie Muechinger!- Can you guess?)

Our own Emily Giovanni has come up with a great way to store stamp sets that are too big for CD tins. Isn't she a smart one!
