With daddy's help- preview day 3
One of my fondest memories of being a young girl is the day my Dad helped me learn to ride a bike.
I remember being excited and scared at the same time. But my Dad reassured me that he would run along side the bike and hold on to me so I wouldn't fall.
So off we went down the street, me pedaling as fast as my little legs could and my poor Dad, running along side of me holding onto the bike. We did that a couple of times and then, the very last time, he let go and I kept going. I was SO excited! I was riding... all by myself.
So, when I created the Kindred Spirits Dad stamps, I had to have a Dad helping his little daughter learn to ride her bike.

There are 4 individual Kindred Spirits Dad stamps- each doing something different with their children. There is also a new set called "Kindred greetings for him." This is a versatile set of masculine greetings that will work perfectly with these Dads or with any masculine stamps you already have.
I chose this inside greeting for my card.

(That second period isn't on the stamp. It is a spot on my patterned, textured paper.)
Isn't that just the perfect greeting for this card? I am going to use this card for my Dad for Father's Day. Other greetings include "Happy Birthday," "You rock!" and so many more!

I colored my image with Copic Markers and that perfect background paper is by Basic Grey. It's part of the Cupcake paper pad.

Would you like to win a stamp set? Leave a comment here and I will be choosing two winners tomorrow who will each win the "Kindred Greetings for him" stamp set! This set comes in the signature Gina K. Designs CD tin.
Want to see more? Our design team has gone wild over these Kindred Dads and have created some fabulous projects for you! Check out what Erika Martin, Faith Hofrichter, Kurtis Amundson, and Linsey Rickett have created using our Kindred Dads.
Check out a sneak peek from Carolyn King too!
And while you're at it, look at this really cool way to line up word stamps (plus a funny sneak peek from Melanie Muechinger!- Can you guess?)
Our own Emily Giovanni has come up with a great way to store stamp sets that are too big for CD tins. Isn't she a smart one!

Tomorrow I will have some info on some new items that will debut in our store with our new release and tomorrow evening is our release party!
It will be held from 7-10 pm central time in our Member Company forum at Splitcoaststampers.com. There will be games, contests, challenges and much more! I will also be doing full stamp set reveals so you can check out all the sets before they go live in our store.

I adore your sneak peek of the new "Kindred Spirits Dad" stamp sets. I'm so pleased that you're keeping some of your stamp designs in the "old fashioned" sketch-style (I apologize, as I don't know how else to describe it) ~ similar to your Winter set entitled "Got Snow" ~ that is my ALL TIME favorite
PS: I really fancy your new blog photo Gina ~ WOOOHOOOOO ~ especially the angle it was taken from. You are certainly one HOT babe

Those training wheels really bring back so many memories. I kind of miss those care-free days of playing outside all day and coming in when the sun starts setting. Catching fireflys. My eyes are tearing. Now where did that come from? It is amazing how your card made so many memories come flooding back. Keep up the good work!

Gina, I LOVE this set - can't wait to see the other dads! My hubby did a great job teaching our 3 girls to ride their bikes - what an exhausting, but exhilerating part of being a dad! My DH is the best dad any girl (of any age - ours are in their 20's now) could have and now he's a Grandpa to our new little granddaughter Anna!

Hi Gina - I just sent a message and forgot to tell you how I learned to ride a bike. My twin sister was taller than me with longer legs, and therefore, learned to ride a bike before I did. An older brother had come home one weekend with a new car. I had to prove to him that I too could ride a bike. I got too close to his brand new car, swiping it with my bike, leaving a long scratch on the side of it. He was very upset with me. Too bad I have to remember all this!!
Thanks for reading
