A challenge for you!
Is there anybody out there who doesn't love their UPS driver? They are the nicest men and women I have ever met!
We see our UPS guy every single day of the week so when he told us that he was taking a week off because his wife was having their fourth child, Judy, Shelly and I sprang into action. Judy got the gift, Shelly brought in the adorable packaging and I made the card to match.

Shelly brought in this adorable gift bag and I wanted to play up on the color theme.

I was able to match the blue and yellow by searching through my Bazzill card stock. Then I used a little bit of patterned paper from the Basic Grey Cupcake patterned paper 6 x 6 pack.

Then, to give the card some interest, I used the cuttlebug to emboss the blue piece of cardstock and scored the corner with the Scor-pal- then I turned it up. I accented it with some Bling & Dazzle Button Babies. I used a Sakura metallic gel pen to accent the ovals. (The ovals were all punched with Marvy punches.)
I colored the sheep with Koh-i-noor pencils and blended it with Odorless Mineral Spirits and Blending stumps. I stamped my greeting at the end.
So how about you? Are you up for a weekend challenge?
Try this sketch challenge and upload your card in the gallery at splitcoaststampers.com using keyword GinaKSC123.

I will go to Splitcoaststampers on Monday and randomly choose one of the sketch cards as a winner and post it here on my blog with your blog or gallery link. The winner will also win a pack of Koh-i-noor pencils or a stamp set of their choice valued at $19.95! The only rule is that you may only use Gina K. Designs stamps. Come on! Come stamp with me!
Have fun and look for our winning sketch on Monday!
Off to a swim meet in the morning! Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Gina K.

Yes! I have a terrific UPS Driver! He's such a good sport that he let our California visitor, "Flat Stanley", sit up in the driver's seat with him for a photo this Spring!

You are incredibly thoughtful! This card is adorable. You are such a nice person! Thanks for sharing this. I took the challenge a little differently though. I've decided to do a thank you card for someone in the service industry that I deal with all the time. Your gesture was an inspiration! Best, Curt

Cute card! My niece is expecting a boy so I may just have to CASE your card.
Glad I had a chance to visit your store a couple weeks ago on my way through Wisconsin and buy a couple of your sets! Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to enter this challenge.
This is my first card for your challenge:

Hi Gina,
I finally got a card done for your challenge. I added a little twist to the sketch, but I was still true to it. I downloaded it to SCS. Here is the link: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/981041?cat=500&ppuser=66942

UPDATE!!!!! For some reason my card is not showing up in the GinaKSC123 gallery. I double-checked my keywords and I have the correct keywords with commas between all of them. My gallery is under JSisk. I put my direct link in my comment above. Maybe SCS is on vacation tonight because I haven't received my e-mail yet saying that my download was approved either. Don't know what is up with that. Hopefully it will show up by tomorrow morning when you pick a winner.

Hi there Gina, I love the sketch....I have created a card but it is not eligible for the contest as I didn't use on of your stamps as I didnt have one appropriate for the card I was making but I loved the sketch so I used that! Keep up the good work as your blog and stamps are fantastic.

Thanks for the reminder to remember our special workers. When there is no "reason" and of course when there is a special reason. Because I loooove my UPS driver and HATE it when he is on vacation! I think I shall let him know how great we think he is!
