Design Team news!
I'm so sorry that I am posting this so late! I didn't realize how quickly we had to get out the door today to go to the state swim meet. The good news is, Rina got a zone cut! Woo-hoo! For those of you who don't know what that is, I will explain it all in an upcoming post but basically it means we are going to Indianapolis for a big swim meet where Rina will be part of the Wisconsin team and many different states will be competing against each other. (Kind of the next level after state.) So we're very proud but we just got back to our room and I finally figured our how to get internet service.

Design Team news!
Lots of things are changing around here and I have a few promotions to tell you about in an upcoming post. (I am so excited about the new rolls that some of our senior designers will be taking on!)
I'm sad to say that Amy Rysavy will not longer be designing for Gina K. Designs. We wish Amy all the best in her future endeavors.
But we have some fabulous news on our senior design team front!
Please help me welcome the newest addition to our senior design team- Jessica Fick!
Jessica joined the Gina K. Designs team almost a year ago. She is our education director at our store and she is my right hand girl when it comes to new techniques that we bring in to our store both online and in house.
Many of you had an opportunity to meet Jessica at the CHA. She loved helping me spend money there! LOL! She is absolutely one of the sweetest people I have ever been blessed to meet. Her attitude is always upbeat and she just puts me in the right frame of mind whenever I am with her. One of the things that initially drew me to Jessica was her strong faith. It comes through in everything she does.
Jessica is a total rock star when it comes to paper crafting. She comes to the store just about everyday with a whole basket of gorgeous projects that she "just whipped up." It blows my mind to rummage through her projects and our retail store is covered with them!
Over the months to come, you will be so impressed with her style. Welcome Jessica- this position is long over-due!

Coming up in the next week, we will be bidding farewell to our current guest design team. I have grown to absolutely LOVE these ladies and I really hate to see them go. (The good news is, we have some Gina K. Designs 'Design Team Alumni' things that we are planning in the future and of course, all of our past guest designers will be invited to play.)
So how about you? Would you like to design for Gina K. Designs? Check back next Friday when we announce a brand new way that we will be doing our guest design team call and how you can join in on all the fun.
Until then, we'll be watching Rina swim this weekend and then on Monday, we'll be filling your bazillion orders that have already come through!
Look out cancer, we're coming to get you! And we'll be riding on a skate board wearing a hot little T-shirt! LOL

Woo-hoo Rina!!! Even without a retainer in her mouth, she retained her swimming skills!
I'm so happy Jess is part of your design team! I'm already in love with her work. The 2 cards she showed in pink & blue last night made me want to kiss my screen. I've already decided I'm in love & marrying the new SU pink, so her work has to be bridesmaids. Or maybe I'll be a stamping polygamist & marry her cards, too. CONGRATS Jess!!!!

Such great news! Jessica is one of the nicest people I have ever met ~ I'm relatively new to GKD and every time I stop in at the store she is sooooooooo nice, it's a pleasure to talk with her. I took her Copic marker class and learned ALOT. She is very talented and will do an awesome job! Congrats!!!

Well, it's never a dull moment with Gina K.! CONGRATS to Miss Jessica Fick! She certainly has rocked my world! I luv that chica and she is super sweet to boot! I'm thrilled to see her part of your Senior DT--supah cool! And sniff, sniff--I'm trying not to cry about having to go--I love this design team so very much and Gina K is the absolute BESTest!!!
