In the spotlight

I have to tell you how impressed I am with the many submissions that came in for our "In the Spotlight" design team call. There were tons and tons of blog links sent in and many more were PM'd and emailed to our company email address.

I spent many, many hours reading your fabulous posts and drooling over your beautiful creations.




I decided to choose two wonderful designers to join us for the month of October. Both of these ladies created beautiful projects and I can't wait to see what they will do with our October release!

I deeply appreciate their dedication to Gina K. Designs and I was occupied for hours going through all of their wonderful Gina K. Designs projects that they each posted on their blogs. Both of these women have amazing spirits.

Howdy!! My name is Lee Murphy and I live in the Southwest Colorado Mountains with the absolute BEST hubby in the world!! He truly is my best friend and we'll celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary next June!

I have a 17 year old daughter who just graduated High School (who sometimes stamps with me!) and a 15 year old son whom I still school at home.

I have always enjoyed crafting and started scrapbooking a few years ago......I am slow 'cuz I love making really detailed pages, so I have tons of photos still waiting for me!! LOL

I "discovered" stamping almost 2 years ago now! A friend invited me over and showed me how she made her own cards........I was HOOKED!!! She told me about Splitcoast and I learned all kinds of techniques, met Fabulous friends for life AND found Gina's company!!! I was an instant addict!!! LOL I love Gina's style, her spirit, her generosity, her creativity, her designers.......well, everything!!

One of the most enjoyable parts of stamping for me is RAK'ing..........especially having joined Chemo Angels as a Card Angel and helping to brighten someone's day!! I find myself learning and growing as a stamper all the time!!! I'm sooo thrilled and honored to be "in the spotlight"!!!!

After almost loosing my eyesight, and now being reduced so much, I tend to look at things a bit different than others...I see beauty and laughter where it seems nobody else does.  I want to soak up as much beauty as I can in the world, be it from this little hobby/obsession of ours or from talking to a friend on the phone and laughing at the silliest things, even that is something beautiful to me.
