Spooky and Sweet

Spooky!

I wanted to make a spooky Halloween card and this was a fun and easy project to stamp. I began with some Black Magic Coredinations card stock and ran it through the cuttlebug with the pumpkin folder. Then, I sanded it using a Tim Holtz sanding block.

I grabbed some Stampin' Up Ruby Red card stock and stamped the moon using bleach as my ink pad. (I just poured a tiny bit on my scrub pad and tapped my stamp right on the bleach part. That will leave a big white mark on your scrub pad but I don't care. If you care, do this instead- Use a plate with some folded paper towels and pour the bleach on the paper towels to create a make-shift bleach ink pad.)

Then, after the moon dried, which I helped along with my heat tool, I stamped the rest of the images with black Memento ink.

The corners were punched using the new EK Success Fancy corner punch. The ornate style is perfect for Halloween! A few brads and some Hemp twine and the card was done! (The yellow card stock is Stampin' Up More Mustard. It matched the bleached moon perfectly!)

Sweet!

Just a little personal stuff- Here's a snapshot of Teddi. She was so happy that the little tiny basketball was running out of air. That's the only way she would ever be able to pick it up! (She only weighs 5 pounds!)

A puppy, a ball, and sunshine. Pure bliss!

Have a great day!

Hugs,
Gina K.
