Preview Day 2

As soon as I saw the sketches for the first of today's preview stamp sets, I envisioned gift bags full of cookies and recipes cards hanging off of cookie swaps. I also pictured adorable cards and scrapbook pages of my kids baking cookies with Grandma over the holiday season.

"Have a Cookie" is one of the newest stamp sets by Melanie Muenchinger and there is no end to the fabulous things you can create.

Instead of making a traditional holiday bag, I made something a little more generic because a gift bag of cookies doesn't necessarily have a season. (You can give me a bag of home-baked cookies any time of the year and I will be grateful!)

I will post a full tutorial on how to make a bag like this early next week and you will see how easy it is to whip this up while the cookies are still in the oven.

I stamped the rolling pin image across the bag topper and then added the word "cookies" inside each rolling pin. I colored them with Koh-i-noor pencils.

I stamped the words, "For You" on a Gina K. Designs Bling & Dazzle plastic tag and tied everything together with hemp twine.

Project details:
Paper: DCWV adhesive mat stack, Stampin' Up Real Red, Pure Luxury 80 lb white.
Ink: Black Stazon
Other: Nestabilities, Threading Water Punch, Koh-i-noor pencils, OMS, Blending stumps, Acetate, Hemp twine, Plastic Tags, Paper piercer.

Of course this stamp set is great for any kind of cookie packaging and gift giving, but it's also fabulous for cards.

I stepped outside the "holiday season" box and went for something completely different.

I LOVE this fortune cookie stamp and the little greeting that says "so fortunate..." What a perfect start to a great handwritten note.

I would hand write words inside like "to have you as my friend." or "to have a Mom like you!" The possibilities are endless.

Card details:
Card Stock: Stampin Up Basic Black, Perfect Plum. Pure Luxury 80 lb. white
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey Eva
Other: Copic markers, Memento Ink, Brads, Pure Luxury Gold Cording.

The fortune sticking out of the cookie is actually blank but I stamped the word "smile" on it. You can stamp any one of the greetings you want or hand write something in yourself.

When you tell us what you want, we listen!

Way back when Melanie designed her T-shirt and Sweatshirt stamp sets, we crammed in just about every single word and phrase we could think of for you to stamp on your T-shirt card creations.

But, this new stamp set is the result of the many requests we've gotten from our customers who LOVE both "Little Tees" and "Just so Sporty" but still needed a few more words to make their sets complete.

Now you can design shirts for softball, wrestling, diving, field hockey and lacrosse, but Melanie also added some fun words and phrases for us in the cyber world, stamping world, leisure world and beyond!

I made this little refrigerator magnet and it's perfect for me!

At only $15.95, we wanted everyone to be able to add this set to their collection and it still qualifies for the "one free with 3" promotion even at the lower price! Would you believe that there are 45 new words and phrases in this set!?! You will love the versatility!
