Happy Thanksgiving
I want to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
My family is coming to our house this year. Shortly after dinner, we will pack up a feast and bring it to the nursing home where my Dad is now residing. While it will be sad not to have him at our table this year, we will rejoice in the fact that we still have him with us and can spend time with him letting him know how thankful we are for him this holiday season.
Thank you all so much for your words of comfort. They mean more to me than you'll ever know.

Cards for heroes is where I sent the over 2000 holiday cards you made for those who serve overseas.
She sent me a thank you email today with this wonderful video. I hope you enjoy it and know how thankful I am that Gina K Designs could be part of this and how thankful I am to you for making it happen! Those cards are truly making a difference which you will be able to see in the eyes and smiles of these brave men and women.

ok. I got my cards for heros.org stamp. And then I procrastinated and let other things get in the way. After I quit crying from this video and straighten myself up, I am immediately going to make cards. What a wonderful wonderful thing all of you cardmakers have done. I hope to join you so. How motivating. Thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing that touching video. It brought tears to my eyes, because I am so proud to be an American and so proud of what our military are doing for us. I live in a "military town," where we have both Malmstrom Air Force Base and the Montana National Guard, and in Great Falls we are acutely aware of our servicemen and what they do for our country.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers for this Holiday Season.

My thoughts are with you and your family. I remember packing up holiday dinners and taking them to my grandma when she was in the hospital or nursing home not too long ago. It wasn't the easiest nor the hardest thing I've had to do, but being able to still spend holidays with her was very precious. It will be very strange not having to do that this year.

Thank you for sharing the video. After viewing it I tried to search for a comparable organization for Canadian soldiers. I found nothing. If anyone knows of any I'd love to hear from them.

I sit here with tears streaming down my face, as a Veteran who was over there in the first Gulf War and now working in Law Enforcement where I have to deal "nicely" with the protestors of the war it brings a HUGE amount of joy to my heart, God Bless you who made so many KNOW THEY ARE SUPPORTED, LOVED and MISSED !!!!!

My heart goes out to you....
My dear old Dad passed away this past July at the age of 95. He had been in a nursing home for a few months before his death. Even at his age, we had expected him to come back home. He was a strong man, a "trouper" his whole life.
Enjoy bringing Dad his Thanksgiving meal, and everything elso too. Because one day, he's not gonna be here. You will have a warm, content spot in your heart for all the loving things you did for him while he was still here with you.
I miss my Dad more than words can say, and I cherish the times I was able to be there with him. It is with a warm and happy heart that I recall my last times with Dad.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and may you & your whole family bask in the warmth of Family Love.

Today is my second Thanksgiving without my mom, and while it's still difficult at times, we make it a wonderful day by remembering and treasuring the happy and funny times we had. It brought tears to my eyes. I said a prayer that our armed forces will get to come home soon to their family & friends. I also said a prayer for your father Gina. How wonderful you get to spend the holidays with him.

What an amazing video. It made my skin tingle. The care and thoughtfulness from each side is incredibly touching. Is there a "Cards for Heros" in Canada? How do I find out? And, yes, lets do it again. Thoughts for you and your family regarding your Dad.
