I got an email from one of my favorite stamping magazines, Scrap & Stamp Arts, saying that their January issue had hit the news stands so I can finally share my news with you!

It was still snowing last year when I got a call from Kelly Koch, the editor of this fabulous magazine, asking me to be in their "All Star" issue. After I picked myself up off the floor, she told me that she liked one of my tutorials on my blog and she would like to feature me and my projects using that technique! (She reads my blog!!! )

If you haven't had the pleasure of reading this magazine, let me tell you a few of the reasons why Scrap & Stamp Arts is one of my favorites.

I love the fact that there is lots of stamping in this magazine. Most of the projects that are showcased in this periodical have step-by-step tutorials to go along with them. Every time I pick up another issue, I am amazed at the beautiful projects and the amount of information that is provided with each of them.

Another thing that I love is the variety of styles. The images and projects feature all styles of stamps and stamping. You will find cute cards that use Nestabilities and Copic markers. Then, on the next page, you will find a beautiful collage or an elegant brayered background. Then, you'll find scenes built with rubber stamps, 3-D projects and a few scrapbook pages that use rubber stamps in very creative ways.

In the All-Star issue, you will find some fabulous projects by Tim Holtz, Suze Weinberg, Judi Wantanabe, Dee Gruenig and more, including yours truly!

You can find this magazine in most rubber stamp and scrapbook stores, all the bookstores and many grocery and discount department stores too.

BLOG CANDY TIME!

They sent me a couple of extra copies of this issue, so, I am giving away a magazine and a Marvy Giga Star punch to celebrate the "All-Star" theme!

Just leave a comment here on this post and I will randomly choose a winner and announce it here on my blog on Thursday.

I hope you are all enjoying your week. We're expecting snow overnight! 3-5 inches. YIKES! It's too early. Wasn't my husband just cutting the grass a week ago? LOL!

Thanks so much for letting me share my news with you. Make it a great day!
Hugs
Gina K.
