Take Flight.

With every release, Gina K. Designs offers a special stamp set that is yours free when you order 3 stamp sets in one order. It's called our "One free with 3." This month's free set is a set that our cruise participants received as part of their goody bag. (Cruise participants can choose any set valued at $18.95 as their "One free with 3" set by typing in their choice in the special instructions box at checkout.

"Take Flight" is the perfect all occasion stamp set for making beautiful cards, gorgeous scrapbook pages and 3-D projects like tile coasters, journals and more!

This set features two beautiful butterflies with greetings to go with them.

In my project above, I embossed the butterfly and bleached it with household bleach. For a full tutorial on bleaching, click here.

When you play with bleach, you will be amazed at the beautiful colors your butterflies will become depending on the color of card stock you choose.

I love the muted turquoise color when the butterfly is stamped and bleached on Stampin' Up's Brilliant Blue. Or how about the beautiful yellow that appeared on the piece of green. You can leave them just as they are or color over them with additional colors. I chose to leave my plain.

You may have noticed the long double end tag behind my main images. I created that using nestabilities however, there wasn't a tag long enough to fit behind the oval.

It was easy to solve that problem using this technique.

First, I die cut and pink and black tag using the two largest dies.

After I embossed the pink one, I used some holiday metallic rub-on paste to highlight the embossed edge.

Then, I layered them together and cut them in half. Then, I glued them down.

Finally,  I placed my butterfly oval on top.

I decided not to add a greeting to the front of this card because it seemed fine the way is was.

I used the rust butterfly to create this card. This was the card projects we did on the cruise using this set.

I stamped the greeting, "Let your dreams take flight!" on a piece of our vellum paper and tore it for a delicate addition to this card.
