Challenge Day 4- Black and White

Today's Blog Candy giveaway is a Scor-pal! (Scroll down to enter.)
And, today's challenge is easy and looks great! All you have to do is make your card black and white! Everything else is up to you.



For this card, I used the stamp set "Tree Silhouettes" and stamped the tree with Memento Black ink.  When I first did my assembly, I used all white brads. It looked terrible! It was way too busy. So, I pulled all of the white brads out and changed them over to black. The tone-on-tone look gives the card a much more elegant feel.

I used three different ribbons. The top ribbon is black polka dot ribbon by May Arts. The middle white satin ribbon is from the Gina K. Designs holiday ribbon collection. The black gingham ribbon is by Stampin' Up.

I stamped the greeting from "Tree Silhouettes" on a piece of Pure Luxury 120;b card stock and then used a nestabilities scalloped tags die to cut and emboss it.
