I couldn't help myself. I'm so excited about this release that I had to start a day early!
Tuesday, the design team and I will begin our new release preview party here on our blogs! But I thought I'd kick off the week with a little contest and I would use a tiny portion of one of our new release sets to help you play along.
The prize for this contest is any one of our new release stamp sets- your choice!
I've shared a lot about my personal life with you guys and I may have mentioned this somewhere along the way. My stamp company is about 1 1/2 years old. (Maybe a little bit older but the Gina K. Designs online store went live in November of 2007.)
Before I opened Gina K. Designs, what did I do?
Post your answer here in the comments and I will randomly choose a winner and announce both the correct answer and the winner right here on this post on Tuesday. The winner will get to choose any new release stamp set!
I will also show you the rest of this card and so much more!
Good luck!
Hugs,
Gina K.

I remember that you were able to purchase those cute little OMS dispensers through a beauty supply shop because you were licensed as a manicurist (nail technician). Not sure of the correct term but I think the cute nail polish stamp is also a clue.

Oh goodness, I couldn't remember. I did try looking at the old archives but I guess I wasn't persistent enough. I must admit I looked at the other comments left and based on those, I'm going to say you were a nail technician and a Stampin' Up consultant. Makes sense given the sneak peak too. Thanks for the chance to win.

I am hoping you used the new set as a clue to your being a nail tech. I went back and scanned some postings fall postings from 2007 but didn't see anything. Thank you for always being so generous. I am really looking forward to your new release. I recently purchased 1 set and bought extra storage in anticipation.

I think I remember you were an SU demo and worked in some kind of beauty salon, not sure as a hairdresser or nail tech. But if my memory has failed there, I would also think you worked in a boring office job and all your creativity could not be contained so you busted out of the office an went on your own and started Gina K.

Let's see, from what you've told us, you were a wife, mother, singer, Stampin-Up Demo, and since you seem to have a knowledge of manicurist/beauty supplies, a nail tech and someone told me that you invented a nail adhesive sysem or something like that, so you were an inventor too. Wow - pretty impressive, but I'm so happy you chose to open a stamp company and treat us to these wonderful designs!

Yikes. It's amazing how many details floated through my brain when I read your post. I know you were a demo for SU, sing at your church, have a rump that conforms to those nasty bleachers at swim meets, designed your own stamps ( I still wish you'd re-release some swimming ones!). Other than that I assume you ate, cooked, cleaned and took naps. No time for any of that now!
