I love these sets, love these cards, but most of all, I love your sweet mom talk! I love to hear other mothers talk about their kids, it's such a common bond, this all consuming love we have for our kids.

Congratulations ladies! Send your shipping info to
info@ginakdesigns.com and we'll get them right out!

Asela Hopkins amazes me with her ability to draw ANYTHING and EVERYTHING!

No matter what style you want, Asela can draw it

I am head over heels in love with her newest set, "Warm & Fuzzy." When I first saw the little faces of these cuties, I couldn't wait to turn them into rubber!

This set absolutely warms my heart. Of course you can whip out a bunch of Valentine's Cards with it but these fuzzy critters are perfect for any occasion!

Imagine all of the cute little birthday cards or cards of friendship that you can create with this image alone. The balloons are a separate image but I thought it would look so cute to stamp them so it looks like the little chaperone on this date is carrying them for the perfect couple. LOL!

I stamped the images with Memento Black ink on Pure Luxury 80 lb card stock and colored them with Copic markers. I used the colorless blender pen to create lots of texture to make them look more "fuzzy."

By the way, the pink flower started out white but I colored it with a pink Copic marker! The background paper is the new Bittersweet by Basic Grey. The rest of our shipment is finally on it's way and will be available by Thursday night for our release along with the brads and buttons to match.

To add some dimension to the balloons, I used crystal lacquer.

I can't wait until you see the other images in this set. They are so adorable!! And this set coordinates with Asela's "Framed Friends" too!

My second sneak peek today is from my new set called "Best Fishes." This set was one of stamp sets that our cruise participants got in their goodie bags.

The card I'd like to preview was inspired by my daughter Rina.

Here is a picture of Rina and her friend Greta when they were getting ready for warm-ups last August at the Mega-zone swim meet in Indianapolis. They were both 10 years old. (They are now both 11. They are just a few weeks apart in age.)

Rina is pretty tiny. She competes a lot with girls who are a lot bigger than her. Most of the time she doesn't care. She's one of those kids who is really a kitten but when she looks in the mirror, she sees a lion. Every once in a while, she feels a little nervous.

She had a moment like that two weeks ago before she swam her 500 yard freestyle. She went in with a seed time, (or best time,) of 6:14. (Six minutes, fourteen second.) She came up to me several times before her event and said her stomach felt all funny. I knew it was nerves. She was swimming with some VERY fast kids.

But you know what? She swam it in 5:56! She was amazing. When she got to the wall at the end, she looked next to her on either side and she was alone. She looked back to see a wall of kids coming toward her. I never saw her smile so big!

So I made this card to put away for her. I'll keep it in my purse. Next time she gets that nervous feeling, I'll give it to her.

This is one of my favorite sayings from this set. It's encouraging in such a sweet way.

I love the way this little starfish is looking up, trying to feel so big- so brave.

I added some shimmer to the leaves and the starfish with a Sakura Star dust pen. I really love that pen. It dries so fast and leaves such a nice glittery look.

The paper is from the Euphoria collection from Basic Grey. I used the GKD Pure Luxury 120lb white as a card base.
