Early Spring?
It's so cold here in Wisconsin. As I watch the weather map, I can see it's cold just about everywhere up north. I really need to move to Arizona or South Beach.
So, when I made my card for the CPS sketch, I decided to think spring- early spring!
Finding inspiration from the Basic Grey "Gypsy" paper pack, I used the "Home tweet Home" stamp set to create the focal point of my card. I didn't think the CPS girls would mind if I used a oval instead of a rectangle. (Just had to be a little different, I guess. LOL)

I used Stampin' Up Black and More Mustard to accent my card and nestabilities to make my ovals and word plate.

After coloring the bird with Copic markers, I dabbed my blender pen all over it to add some texture and then I added a little Sakura Stardust pen to make the tail and wings sparkle.

I really like the way you have layered the bird on the oval nests; scalloped, plain, scalloped. It gives a lovely effect.

Oooh, how pretty! I used that same paper on a card for my daughter when she was living in Taiwan - it has a beautiful soft Asian feel! Beautiful card! Thanks for sharing.

Being in central WI, I know what you mean about the cold weather. I actually thought I saw a robin in a tree today, but it was just wishful thinking. I love the spring-like card.

After being slammed with yet another snow storm today it was so nice to see your lovely card. It does remind me of spring.

Great card, love the spring look. However whilst you are bemoaning about the cold down hear in Aus I am bemoaning about the heat. I live in snow country and yet we are getting high 30sC days and just melting. Can't wait for winter.
