Colored pencils and OMS- today on stampTV

This week on stampTV, we've added a new episode on how to do some basic coloring with colored pencils and OMS (or Odorless Mineral Spirits/gamsol.) Visit stampTV to watch this week's episode.

I've also posted a new colored pencils and OMS technique challenge where you can share your coloring skills an maybe win a stamp set of your choice! (Winners are chosen randomly, not by skill level. We want everyone to play!) Try the challenge here.

I also posted the winner of last week's kissing technique challenge! You can find the winner here.

Do you have a blog? Share you blog link in our new blogger's group at stampTV. Blogger's group.

I hope you all enjoy this week's episode and happy coloring!
Hugs,
Gina K.

Thanks for showing this technique, I have tried it in the past but think I may need different cardstock.

I don't see how that would work. The blending stumps are made out of tightly wrapped paper. The way you get the colors to move on the paper is to push them around with the blending stump. An aqua pen wouldn't let you use enough pressure when you blend.

Yup- Karen is right. The aqua pen will work for watercolor pencils but not for this particular technique.

Gorgeous card, Gina! I've been so caught up in using my Copics lately that I haven't used my pencils and OMS at all. Time to get them out again! Thanks for the inspiration to pull out things that haven't gotten much use lately! Now I need to watch the tutorial to refresh my memory on this technique.

I love this technique and your videos! Do you know if this technique is safe for use in scrapbooks? I've always wondered and never had the courage to do it and see. Thanks!
