Preview Day 3

Tuscany.  Isn't it beautiful?

That's what I think about when I look at Melanie Muenchinger's newest stamp set, "A Charmed Life."
Look at this gorgeous wine glass!



This HUGE stamp set has 59 stamps that celebrate life in one of the most festive ways.
I decided to make a birthday card and I was floored with all of my choices! Melanie has thought of everything when it comes to well wishes.



She has created the cutest little charms and one that you can use for so many different little greetings, including many in languages other than English!

And, talk about convenient, this charm fits a brand new little Marvy circle punch that will be released tomorrow night! This makes it fast and easy to pop on a charm with any of the greeting without any tedious cutting at all!

 

One of the elements I love on this card is the digital paper. That gorgeous red damask paper was created by our very own Emily Giovanni. She has created her first Gina K. Designs digital paper pack called "Rich and Shabby." The papers are so elegant and you will want to touch them because the texture seems to pop right off the paper!

At on $3.50 for the whole download, you will have these rich papers to use over and over again. with no limit.

Plus- Emily has created a 4 sheet companion pack that we will be giving away free, starting tonight during the release party right here on my blog. I have some free digital paper for you too and I used it to make the little textured layer piece between the two black pieces of card stock.

For the inside of my card, I used one of my favorite greetings from Melanie's set. It says, "Like fine wine, you improve with age!" Isn't that a great saying?

This set is called "Wreath of Wishes." It's a favorite of mine and a fun and easy set to create with.



I created my matted wreath using both Marvy punches and nestabilities together. You can mix and match the circle ones and they work great together!

I designed this wreath to fit the Marvy Mega circle or scalloped circle for a quick cut.



To create my background, I used this week's StampTV technique episode called woodgraining. You can find that episode here- StampTV- woodgraining.



This set has many different greetings that you can stamp inside the wreath. I love this one because it's the perfect card to send to anyone who might be having a hard time and you just want them to know you're there and that you care.



I used a few screw brads and colored my wreath with Copic markers. Then added some ribbon from the StampTV Floral Frenzy Kit and popped my wreath right on the "door."

A note about our stamps-
You asked, and we listened!

We know you love our new Binder Box Storage System. You've purchased thousands of them and love the ease and convenience of opening the box and having tons of stamps at your fingertips.

In the future, as we replenish our inventory, all of our sets that used to come in tins, will now come in a plastic bag and contain a binder sheet.

We have had an overwhelming amount of customer service requests for this and we agree that is nice to be able to store all of your EZ mount stamps in the safest and most convenient way possible. Our binder sheets will give all of your Gina K. Designs stamps a lifetime guarantee that they will remain clingy. That guarantee is only available for stamps that are stored on these binder sheets.

For those of you who still like the CD tins, we will have them available as an item for purchase in our online store. You will be able to trim the glossy index sheet and stick it to the back of your tin if you choose to use that type of storage instead of the binder sheet.

We will first sell all of the inventory we have left with tins and as we replenish that inventory, we will make the switch over. We apologize but we can't accommodate special requests for packaging. It will be first come, first served until the tin sets run out. We won't package up the new style until the previous style is gone.

If you purchase a StampTV kit , the kit will count as one stamp set toward our One free with 3. (Remember, you get an extra free set in the StampTV kit too! Tons of freebies in this release!)
