How exciting to begin our previews when so many of us have the day off to relax and enjoy the kick-off to summer!
Today, I will be previewing the newest stamp set by Melanie Muenchinger called:
"Sporty Accessories." 
This set is going to be one of my "go-to" sets for sure this summer and beyond. It is packed with all kinds of sports images and some fantastic greetings that will fit on the pennant you see here, and they will also fit on an adorable megaphone. I love this cheerleader dress! The pom-poms are actually a separate image which makes the dress so much more versatile. Melanie will show you what I mean in time.
Since Rina's swim coach is such a wonderful cheerleader for her swimmers, the first project I made is a fun thank you card for her. 
So many of us have children that are into sports. It's nice to be able to send the coach a thank you card for the wonderful influence they have on our kids.
Here are a few details you may be wondering about on this card.
New Pure Luxury Card Stock
One of our two new colors of card stock this month is one of the richest navy blues I have ever seen. "In the Navy" is a heavy base weight card stock that is perfect for all of your summer projects! It's rich true navy blue color will complement so many summer brights. The other new color card stock we will be introducing is called "Rocket Red." And it's textured! You will love this beautiful true red heavy base weight card stock with its elegant striped texture. It feels slightly different due to the texture but it is a sturdy base weight that you will LOVE! You'll be seeing previews of "Rocket Red" all this week.
"Stars and Stripes"- free digital paper for you!
I used our newest digital paper pack called "Stars and Stripes" for both the background paper and the paper piecing on the dress.
As you can see from the photos above, the colors of these papers print much richer than the product photo below.
If you print this paper full size, the stars will be bigger than they appear on the dress. But for my card, I printed the paper 5 X 7 to get smaller stars and to get two different patterns out of one piece of 80lb Pure Luxury white card stock. (I printed Navy on the other half of the sheet for a different project.)
This paper pack will be available as a free download on Thursday evening on the StampTV freebies page.
Not only will "Sporty Accessories" make perfect cards and scrapbook pages, but it's fun to use to decorate those summer treats too!
I picked up a couple of packs of cupcakes to take to swim practice. I decided to make them seem a little more "homemade" by adding a little "Go-Team" spirit.
These were super easy to make and they took about 5 minutes! All I did was stamp and cut. Then, I used a paper piercer to pierce two holes and added a toothpick. Voila! Team treats and I look like an all-star Mom! LOL!
Another new product we are adding to Gina K. Designs this month is another type of ink. Although I LOVE Memento Ink for all things Copic, I love the way Vivid ink works with all of my stamps. Vivid will even work with clear stamps and you don't even have to condition the clear stamps first!
It comes in many, many colors but we decided to add them to our store to match the Pure Luxury Card Stock.
Our first three ink pad colors we will be adding are:
You will love how nicely these inks coordinate with our heavy base weight card stock, and because they are dye base ink, they dry quickly without smearing!

oh I love vivid ink!!!! I have a couple of granddaughter that were cheerleaders and have enough pics to scrapbook a couple of pages! AND their teams were red, white and blue!!! Oh my, oh my, oh my!! What can I say? The paper colors are amazing. I can hardly wait to order some of the red and blue. Also can't wait to get my hands on the new inks. Especially the Coffee Bean. The sneek peak of the stamp set from Melanie looks so cute. I *Love* the newest designer papers Gina. Not only will they be great to use for cards but they will be awesome to use as scrap booking or digi scrap booking. The red white and blue would make an awesome 4th of July scrap or digi layout. when I saw the browns and blues I thought of cards and scrap pages for Dad, Moms children etc, as "Your My Star" And of course for those who play baseball, football etc.. who are stars. Oh and what about all of our men who are serving our county or who have served. What an awesome scrapbook anyone one can make using your new papers and inks. Bravo to and to your team Gina.

What a beautiful Memorial weekend it has been. Of course we all need to remember the real meaning of it as we all go about enjoying the extended weekend. I thought of both of my parents who served in World War II. My MOM was in the lst Womens Army Corps, quite an adventure for a girl raised on a farm in Minnesota. She was stationed in Texas and then went to New Guinea during war time. My DAD was from a tiny town in Iowa and he was stationed in Texas and went to France during war time. I had so many other family members that have served in many branches of service too. To my parents and all who have served I would like to say we remember you, we honor you and and most of all we THANK YOU.

I need your help. My first love of stamping comes from clear stamps but I have numerous rubber stamps....if I like it I buy it. But I struggle with ink. So the vivid works well with both clear and rubber but not with Copic's, correct?

I love looking at the beautiful things that can be made from the stamps. I love reds and the brick red color is WOW! I also loved the sneak peeks using the materials from the ecclectic summer collection.
