Inspiration Blog Hop!
Our design team members, along with a few friends, are celebrating Melanie Muenchinger's new stamp set , Inspiration Mosaic with a fun blog hop.
As you hop through the blogs tonight, you will bound to be inspired to create with this innovative stamp set that has truly become one of my favorites.

One of the reasons I love this set is because it's the foundation for a fabulous card sketch. It leaves openings in all the right places to help you create well balanced cards, even if you are using other sets along with it.
For my card, I decided to use patterned paper from the new Signs of Autumn Stamp TV kit to create a patchwork, perfect for sewing, or quilting. This set makes the paper piecing so easy and creates perfectly spaced patches for me to quilt together. No guess work at all!
You all know how much I love to sew and this gives me the perfect grid. But sewing isn't necessary when it comes to this stamp set. You'll know that the minute you hop through the different blogs tonight. There are so many ways to use this set.

I used one of the beautiful and inspirational greetings from the set and then I added three stars from the Lazy Days of Summer stamp set. I punched out the stars using some Marvy Star punches and this card is the perfect card to slip inside one my girls backpacks on the first day of school.
(Both of my daughters are moving up to new schools this year. Rina starts middle school and Alicia starts high school. Those are two big milestones that require a card of encouragement. LOL!)
Inspiration Mosaic is one of those staples that should be in every stamp room. Even on those days when you have no mojo, the layout and ideas are all contained in one easy package and make it easy to get creative.

Hugs,
Gina K.

Oooh, I love the new papers and the way they just blend so perfectly. I'm sure your daughters will love to find these treasures in their backpacks. Reminded me right away of that new commercial on tv with the girl and her butterflies on her first day back to school and her mom gave her a card in her pack. Great idea!!!
