Tonight is the night!
In just a little over an hours, the Gina K. Designs release party will kick off and we have lots of fun stuff in store for you!
If you have never been to a release party, here are a few tips:
1. Our release party is a big chat thread over at Splitcoaststampers.com where we chat the night away, share beautiful samples made with the new release stamp sets, post contests and challenges, show off the full reveals of each stamp set and have lots of fun relaxing and scrolling through the thread to see what we missed a long the way.
2. Don't feel pressured to try and keep up. At times we have had over 600 guests at our party. As you can imagine, when that many people are chatting, the thread moves really fast. Just scroll through at your own pace. The card projects will be very obvious in the threads so you can easily find them.
3. All the really important stuff like contests and challenges will be posted in HUGE red letters so look for those posts with links directly to the contests and challenges.
4. All the full reveals of tonight's stamp sets will be posted within the party thread but also here on my blog so if you can't find them in the thread, just visit this blog and they will be here too.
5. Finally, if you post comments on the party thread, Splitcoaststampers will "subscribe you" to the thread and all the comments will end up in your email box. Make sure you unsubscribe to the thread by clicking on one of the emails and click the unsubscribe link so you don't end up with too many emails in your inbox, however, they are pretty easy to delete. I always forget and have to delete lots of emails but I don't mind. They stop shortly after the party is over anyway.
6. Have fun and know that EVERYONE is welcome. We have NO cliques at Gina K. Designs. We don't allow it.

宁波的沈女士最近碰到一件烦心事：她开着车去医院做产前检查，却被一名交警堵在了门口，说什么也不让她进去，双方争执了近两个小时。当沈女士提出“自己快要生产了，让交警开个门”，那名交警居然说：“你要生关我什么事，难道还要我帮你接生吗？”后来，交警的领导赶过来，让沈女士进医院，现场训斥了那名交警。
昨天，宁波江东交警大队相关负责人给沈女士打了电话，对那个事情表示道歉。江东交警大队相关负责人对记者说，当事民警太年轻，处理事情太死板，他们会认真教育他的。大队内部也会进行通报，进行相应处罚。
【事情经过】
双方争执了近两个小时
事情发生在8月22日，那天早上，沈女士开车前往鄞州人民医院，做产前检查。
“因之前一天，胎心监测结果不大理想，医生告诉我，22日先吸氧，然后再做胎心监测，如情况仍然不好，必须住院。”沈女士对记者说，大概9点15分，她开车来到位于宁波百丈路的鄞州医院正大门，只见一辆警用摩托车堵在进门道，她以为里面的停车位满了，就在门口等了一会。
大概过了15分钟，一名交警出现在现场。沈女士问他：为什么不让她进门？交警告诉她，这是在执行上级命令。她又问：这是医院大门，交警有什么权力堵住大门，而且没有任何禁行标志？那名交警只是回答：是上级领导的命令。
“我问他领导的电话，他也不告诉我，只说你要等就等在这儿好了，反正此门不让进，且说我也可投诉12345。无奈我打了这个电话，但没得到回复。”沈女士对记者说，差不多过了1个小时了，这名交警仍没要挪开那辆堵在大门口的摩托车的意思。
沈女士告诉记者，她对这一带的交通情况并不十分了解，前几次也是从大门进去的，那天也有一些车主见进不去，就把车停在了门口，这些车都被交警贴了条子。而从电子指示牌看，当时医院里是有剩余车位的。
“我无奈之下再次下车与他理论，并告诉他我快要生孩子了，让他开个门，他的回答却是：‘你要生关我什么事，难道还要我帮你接生吗？’并说，再不把车开走，他就要贴单了。”沈女士说到这儿时，有点激动，她说，她当时差点哭了。
沈女士的丈夫任先生当时正在外地，接到沈女士的电话后非常着急，只好打电话给他父亲求助。大概10点40分左右，任先生的父亲赶到现场，此时围观群众也多起来，纷纷指责那名交警，认为，对一个快要生的孕妇，好歹要行个方便的。

大门应该让病人通行
昨天下午，记者来到事发的宁波鄞州人民医院。
医院大门口，位于宁波百丈路和甬港北路交界处，交通非常繁忙。
记者在大门口没有看到不让汽车进入的任何标志，还有大大的“进口”两字，并提示大家刷卡进入，电子屏幕上也显示停车位数量，不时有一些车辆从外面进来。
医院大门有一些交警在巡逻，医院的一位保安对记者说，22日发生事情时，他并不在这里，不过，警车拦住大门不让汽车进的事，以前也发生过，一般是在上午交通比较繁忙的时候。
鄞州人民医院宣教科的励军辉对记者说，当时的事情确实发生在他们医院门口，不过与他们医院无关。医院大门口交通繁忙，交警有时候不让车子进，但并没有明确的标识，他们也在与江东交警大队积极沟通，希望能够解决这个问题。

网上跟帖进行说明
任先生的帖子引起了数万网友的热议，很多网友对沈女士的遭遇表示同情。
8月24日晚上7点多，网友“江东小石头”跟帖，全文如下：
鄞州人民医院，地处江东区较为中心地段，该院在甬港北路上开有东门，在百丈东路上开有南门。众所周知，鄞州人民医院的停车位并不多，停车十分紧张，进出困难的问题由来已久，曾经还发生过因为进出车辆太多，内部停车混乱导致救护车无法出车的事情。医院周边的甬港北路、百丈东路交通也十分繁忙，也因为进出医院的车辆无序，经常发生道路拥堵现象。为此，交警部门曾经与该院多次联系、协商，最后确定进出鄞州人民医院的汽车是东门进入、南门出来。

而对于这个跟帖，任先生和沈女士表示不认同：“当时周围根本没有一个执勤民警，何来帖子上所说‘事发当天这位驾驶人不听交通协管人员劝导，强行将放在东北角的警示锥移走’的事情？再说，如果真的大门不能进车，为什么不做一个标识，做一块机动车进入医院的指引牌？”
向孕妇表示歉意
当昨天下午记者来到离鄞州人民医院不远的江东交警大队时，工作人员告诉记者，这几天正是他们最忙的时候，负责人都在路上。
下午3点40分左右，沈女士给记者打来电话，说江东交警大队已对他们表示了道歉。沈女士说，江东交警大队告诉他，当时那个交警很年轻，还没结婚，处理不够妥当，希望她能原谅。
沈女士告诉记者那个道歉电话号码，记者随后打过去，接电话的叫张森怀，是江东交警大队直属中队综合室民警，他告诉记者，当时那个交警姓娄，是江东交警大队路面中队的交警，才20多岁，工作不久。

东方网8月30日消息：据《新闻晨报》报道，近日，一则上海高平路某小区居民虐猫的帖子在网络上疯传。据该帖讲述，住在该小区的某户人家，当着母猫面，把5只还没有睁开眼睛的小猫摔在地上。短短两天内，帖子已被转发超过5000次。
晨报记者调查发现，虐猫“元凶”竟然是一个10来岁的孩子。
回放：10岁小男孩连摔5只小猫
此帖引来众多关注，大部分人都指责虐猫者，称这样的行为太过分，简直就是惨无人道。而这起虐猫事件更是在该小区引发众议。
小区居民告诉记者，虐猫发生在8月27日下午2点左右，且是一个10来岁的小孩所为。“小区内突然传出猫咪的惨叫声，顺着叫声看去，一个10来岁的小男孩手里拿着刚出生不久的小猫，正玩得不亦乐乎。他先把小猫从纸盒里抓出来，在手里来回玩耍，然后一下子摔在地上，小猫发出几声惨叫后已经奄奄一息。接着，他拿起另一只小猫，又重重地摔到地上。它们的妈妈是一只黑色花猫,Monster Beats Pas Cher，被吓得瑟瑟发抖，躲在草丛深处不敢出来，只能声嘶力竭地哀叫着。没多久，小男孩玩腻了，就把5只小猫全扔了。”目击者回忆道。

争议：孩子所为居民看法不一
小区居民对此事也议论纷纷，有人认为，孩子太小还不懂事，因为好玩去抓猫，可能是手脚没轻没重，才摔了小猫。也有人觉得，摔一只小猫可能是意外，但是连续摔5只猫，就是有意为之了。
“孩子已经上小学了，应该知道小猫也是有生命的，不应该伤害它们。”居民介绍说，小区里有不少流浪猫，这孩子挺调皮，平时就喜欢抓猫玩，大猫跑得快，有时还会抓人咬人，他不敢抓，所以只能玩小猫。据同龄的孩子说，这几天都没看到他出来玩，好像是被大人关在家里了。

孩子并无过错，因为10岁左右的孩子认知还未健全，而现在很多孩子都喜欢玩电子宠物、杀人游戏等，在虚拟世界里，可以让宠物死掉重新再养，让某个角色死而复生。十岁左右的孩子还不能清晰地分辨虚拟世界和现实世界，可能误以为在现实生活中，也可以让小猫死去再活过来,Casque Monster beats by Dr. Dr。因此，在西方，有法律规定12岁以下的孩子不能单独在家。

从这件事多少能折射出家庭、学校对孩子的教育出现了问题。“就个人而言，我不希望是普遍现象。”在学校里，孩子受到的科学教育很多，但是生命教育方面依然有所欠缺，在教育孩子保护自己生命的同时，是否也应该引导他们去保护别的生命呢？家长在生活中的一言一行，对于孩子的教导作用是非常重要的，大人应该教会孩子重视生命，而不是漠视生命。
