Distressed Newsprint

*(If you are looking for the blog hop blog post to share your Summer Memories project link, scroll down to the next entry and you will find the Mister Linky there.)

Today on StampTV, learn this fun background technique that uses Tim Holtz Distress Inks and a piece of old newspaper. You can also do this technique using old sheet music, maps, and the pages from an old book.

Distress Inks are so much fun to work with. And they really help to create beautifully rich and vibrant projects.

They are now available in our online store in both the ink pads and the reinkers. Click here to find them in our store .

I found a document that you can print to create labels for the sides of your Distress Inks. This was on the ranger site and since we are now carrying the ink pads, I added the document to StampTV.

You can also download this free color chart so you can create your own hand stamped chart for color matching and keeping track of the colors you have.

Click here to download the labels and the color chart . I have also posted a color chart of complementary Pure Luxury Card Stock colors at that same link.

Have a wonderful day and happy stamping!
