Preview Day 4

Today is the final day of previews and on Thursday night at 7:00 PM, our release party will start in our release party forum over at StampTV! Then, at 10:00 PM central time, our store will be fully stocked with all of the new pre-cut stamp sets and some other new products as well!

Introducing Winter Wings by Asela Hopkins

I love nature stamps. From flowers to butterflies, I can't get enough. But one of the things that was missing from my collection was a set of bird stamps that lends itself to winter stamping. So when Asela showed me these beautiful winter birds, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it!

Every single one of these birds are just beautiful and there are heartfelt sayings to go along with them. And if you love to color with Copic markers, these images are large and allow for lots of shading. Another thing that I love about these birds is that they can be used for many types of cards, including Christmas.

Introducing the new One free with 3 stamp set, Labeled with Love by Gina K. Designs

The greeting used on tonight's project came from a set that I designed to coordinate with the brand new Spellbinders die set, Labels 14 and it's yours free with the purchase of any other three stamp sets this upcoming month.

Labeled with Love contains two different labels frames and many greetings that fit inside.

For this particular project, I used paper piecing to jazz up the frame using some of the new Basic Grey Jovial 6 X 6 paper pack. Even if you don't have these dies yet, these images can be stamped directly onto your project and paper pieced or colored. And then, once you get the set of dies, you will see how many more options you have using them for everything from cards, to small journaling tags to 3-D gifts.

My emergency- not too bad in the big picture.

My family emergency was that someone stole my daughter's iPhone out of her locker while she was at swim practice tonight. I feel SO bad for her because she saved up all of her Christmas and birthday money to put towards the phone and just got it a few months ago. I had to go to the pool and the police got involved. It was a long process including calling AT&T to suspend her service so the thief didn't rack up a bunch of bills buying ring tones, songs and games

We are hoping they caught the person on camera.We will know tomorrow. But if not, in order for her to get a new iPhone it would be $700.00 since she is not eligible for an upgrade. So, she's pretty sad and I feel sad for her. AND, it totally messed up my blogging tonight. LOL! So, in the big picture, the Lord will take care of them, I will take care of my daughter and we'll get on with the fun tonight! So, thanks for your concern. All is well. Let's party!

The previews have finally begun and there is so much excitement behind the scenes for our release this month.

The first bit of exciting news is this!

Yes, it's finally here and you've been asking for this for a LONG time!
Gina K. Designs will now be offering all of our new sets pre-cut!

Each month going forward, our new release stamp sets and future StampTV kits will come to you pre-cut on cling cushion. (We will also be pre-cutting some of our previous sets but not at first. When they do become available pre-cut, we will notify you.)

Shown above is the fabulous new set being released this Thursday by Nina Brackett called Lovely Labels 2. This stamp set fits many of the new Labels dies that Spellbinders showcased at the Summer CHA! These dies have just been released to stores and we are one of the first companies to offer beautiful stamps to coordinate with them.

Also being released on Thursday night is a brand new set by Melanie Muenchinger called Buds and Vases. You may remember that FABULOUS jar snippet. Well, Melanie has created the perfect set that coordinates with SO many of her previous sets including her famous A Year of Flowers! You will always have the perfect jar, vase or pot in which to place your flowers, shells, cookies and more with Buds and Vases.

I combined these two sets for my preview project tonight to show you how beautifully they work together.

The background paper used in this project is called Pyrus, one of three brand new Basic Grey 6X6 paper packs being released on Thursday as well!

So many changes are happening this month at Gina K. Designs and StampTV!

Design Team Challenge- Favorite Fall Memory

It's time for our monthly design team challenge!

This month, I asked the team to create a project based on their favorite fall memory.

For me, this was a no-brainer because we still make these memories every year. I LOVE Fall. It's so crisp and beautiful and all of the wonderful shades of orange, red and brown begin to appear and cover the hillsides!

So, I decided that I would create a project based on our favorite fall activity, our yearly trip to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard.

There are so many delightful farms here in Wisconsin and my most favorite memory was when Alicia and Rina were about 9 and 7. I remember Rina not being able to reach the lowest branches on the apple tree and Alicia lifting her up so she could grab one. It was such a sweet picture, and I have it somewhere, still waiting to be scrapbooked. But it's embedded in my brain forever because it was such a sweet little gesture and one of the first times I saw Alicia falling into the role of the "Big Sister."

So, I created this card and shared it with you on StampTV in this week's episode called Masked Pumpkin.

So now it's your turn.
